One of the other ways we get to share our love of wine is through offering tastings. We provide both relaxed tastings for friends, families and parties and impressive corporate events.

At Thirsty Friends, we strive to make these events as informative as they are fabulous and as entertaining as they are delicious.

We delve deep into each wine, exploring not only its flavours and aromas but also uncovering the fascinating stories that give them their unique character. We give you and your guests a thorough understanding of the intricate elements that shape a wine’s identity, from the region and grape to its history, producer and terroir, without ever once taking away from the fun.

Lively & Light-hearted

And we’re not just there to lecture. Our wine tastings are centred around questions, answers and lively discussions, and each one ends with a light-hearted game where one lucky guest gets to take home a superb bottle of something special.

If you’re looking to add to your experience, we can also provide carefully curated canapés designed to perfectly complement the wines, giving everyone more fabulous flavours to enjoy, and maybe even talk about.

What’s Involved

Each tasting includes:

Six wines showcasing variety within the theme of your tasting
A discussion around each wine, looking at its taste and the story of why it has its particular flavour
An opportunity for questions as we go and open discussion
A fun quiz or blind tasting at the end with a great bottle of plonk to be won(We’ll also throw in a ‘Wild Card’ bottle as a treat to taste!)

PRICING

Wine tastings start at £50 per person, with the flexibility to choose a theme or create your own.

Themes that require more premium wines are an additional £25+ per head, depending on the wine selection.
Additional fees may be applicable if providing specific food. pairings/canapes
Please note we have a minimum fee per event of £400.
